I started out designing websites and quickly ended up spending most of my time inside WordPress. It is flexible enough for almost any small business, and it gives the owner real control over their own site once it is live.

Over the last two-plus years I have built more than 80 WordPress websites. A lot of them are for local service businesses in the United States: auto detailers, pressure washing companies, roofers, landscapers, restoration companies, restaurants and care providers. That kind of work teaches you fast what a website actually needs to do. People land on the page, usually on a phone, and they want to know three things: what you do, where you do it, and how to get in touch.

Building those sites is also how I got into SEO. A website that nobody finds does not help anyone, so I began building every project with search in mind: a clear page structure, proper headings, useful metadata, internal links and pages that load quickly. Today my work sits where design, WordPress development and SEO foundations meet.

I keep my stack deliberately simple. I build with Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce and well-supported plugins rather than custom-coded themes, so the sites I hand over are easy to edit and easy for anyone to maintain later.
